I remember back when he was a mayor... he asked his bodyguards to buy jollibee for the poor families who had nothing to prepare for Christmas/New Year, and he even celebrated with them.... it was his daily/nightly routine to observe the city and the people, to the extent of driving a cab specially at night... I even remember when Davao City upgraded it's traffic system and did a dry run to see how it went downtown, yet the first try was chaotic that people even saw him sitting at the side of the road looking so stressed while he was observing the vehicles. These are just few of the MANY reasons why Dabawenyos love him.

i cut ties with my friends in school cause they dont like you tay, i don't mind not talking to them for the rest of my life. i miss you, kahit na never kitang nakita in person ramdam ko yung pagmamahal mo samin. for once we experienced to walk in the middle of night without worrying what will happen to us.

Isa sa dinalaw nya(nagkataon wala ang kapatid ko that time sa hospital ng mga cancer sa city of davao) Dumalaw si tatay digong at nagbigay ng tablet para sa mga bata wayback 2014 nung mayor pa sya. Cancer survivor ang kapatid ko from 2014-2016. Malaki talaga ang pasasalamat namin sa hospital nayun at syempre isa din sa gumabay sa financial mismong ang mayor nayan.

Dati wala akong pake kung sino maupong presidente sa Pilipinas. Akala ko dahil bata pa ako, pero nung sya ung naupong presidente, kahit na hindi ko sya nakita ng personal, ramdam ko ung pagbabago sa Pilipinas. Mas ramdam kong safe ako nung time nya, bata pa ko nyan ha, siguro 14 years old. Wala pa kong kamalayan masyado sa isyu ng politika at korapsyon. Saka kung sino lang ang i-support ng parents ko eh automatic na un na din ang saakin, pero nung nung si Duterte ang tumakbo para sa pagkapresidente at nanalong presidente, nagkaron ako ng sarili kong desisyon. Sya ang presidente ko kahit hindi pako pwede bumoto dahil wala pa ako sa legal age.
