Hi! it's kind boyfriend. I just got the ethnocare liners. ok here's what you do. you need a 1ply sock or shrinker and ace bandages. not the Velcro kind, the kind that uses clasps but you won't use those. put the 1ply or shrinker on your bare leg so the ace bandage won't dig into your skin. wrap the ace bandage around your leg like you would when you first got your amputation. that will take up the lost mass in your leg. as long as you don't do anything to high activity you should be fine especially if you have an overly sealing liner for your socket. good luck!!!

What I’ve done is you know the very thin thin sock that you use to help the socket fit I actually cut it just above my knee and I wear that inside my liner kind of using it like a sweat sock but the main reason I’m using it is because it makes my liner fit better

Shoot- that’s a tough spot to be in! Just brainstorming- there are silicone distal cups that have no fabric. I have used those to help with gapping before. Unfortunately, a new liner is the best solution. Alps has some more affordable liner options, and are game to give reduced or free liners at times.

Same thing happened to me today. Hot summer weather and I shrunk out of my seal-in liner and had to switch back to sleeve. I’m in 16 layers of sock tonight! And waiting for approval for new leg for a month. 🤷♂️

I've found using a lot of ply over the liner. below socket. and my prosthetic recommends raising the sleeve as much as possible.

check your sleeve for small hole. that will cause you to loose suction. have you tried the constriction sock over your liner

$800 for a piece of fabric someone's getting rich off of other people's suffering cuz there's no way that cost that much🥰

how much smaller is it? is it like several sizes too small or is it just a little bit cause I had a friend that like took a sheet rolled it and wrapped it around her leg to make her leg bigger cause of the same thing (she used like a crib sheet)
