I've heard the argument that God can only be 2 of 3 aspects: All Knowing, All Loving, and All Powerful If they know all and love all, he cannot have the power to stop all the truly awful things in the world If they are all powerful and love all, they can't know what happens next or they would stop it And if they are all powerful and know all, they can't be all loving because they wouldn't allow anything happening My personal hope is that they are all knowing and all loving...able to teach us things once we cross over to the other side

My belief is that God, or whatever all powerful entity, isn't all good nor all bad. it's just in search of amusement to its all knowing mind. That's why we, and the universe itself, maybe other life forms in the universe, have a chance of survival so low, a chance of reaching this exact state we arrived in evolution so small, because for a entity all powerful and all knowing, it would be amusing to see the smallest chances happening. that's why we have so many bad things happening, not because it's to our own good and growth, because it's amusing to see us fail to grow beyond these adversities or to succeed and have to challenge things even more dangerous and horrible. that's my belief at least.

btw no polytheist can say the entire unedited pledge of allegiance. "under God". that one quote led me to create a religion. that and additionally all these centuries of polytheism but then monotheism poofs into view and dominates the world. seems a bit suspicious to me
