True! I have similar thought too when I went back to the PH for a vacation after 3-4 yrs in Jan. When i started working at a non profit I saw all the programs we supported and funded, I was like, why are these support not in the PH, we could definitely do this and that. What the heck that’s why we’re frustrated kasi wala tayo masyadong support and facilities. Nakakalungkot lang…

It's always like this for me, too 🥹 I love that we live in the provincial side of the Philippines so every time I go back, I feel so refreshed and happy. Pero pag may errands ako or things to do in Manila, ang hirap talaga ng traffic and pag may need ka iprocess sa govt agency, sobrang hirap and inefficient. 🥲

umuwi ako nung aug-sept, grabe ang traffic.. sayang oras umaabot ng 1 hour kahit malapit lang. tapos na-experienced ko pa nag grab ako, bahang baha talaga late nako nakauwi dahil hindi alam saan kami dadaan ng grab. pero wala lang yun saakin, masaya pa rin sa pinas. bulok ang systema pero dahil nandun ang pamilya at kaibigan, you will always have a reason to come back.
