I have FND too and had something similar happen, almost exact minus the not learning how to rewalk, I did 6 months inpatient, now my FND just causes locking joints, dystonia, seizures etc but the exact order, blackouts, vision issues, then my legs went backwards under me etc, im so sorry you had to go through this <3 I have HEDS as well so I think that helped my knees unlock and recover to be back forward, bc im so bendy, I hope you feel supported

I'm so sorry, you're doing amazing. It makes me wonder if you got Guillain Barre from the infections? If the quads become really weak then you can compensate with knee hyperextension..I'm so sorry no one addressed your legs earlier. FND is a beast.. I'm so glad you're doing so much better
