@the_kampkakuma: e are completely honoured to have met His excellency Vincenzo Del Monaco, the ambassador of Italy to Kenya yesterday at the UNHCR Kakuma office. In this meeting, we discussed challenges that initiatives in Kakuma face and possible areas of support from the Italian Embassy. Last year, through our allies HEK and the support of the Italian Agency For Development Cooperation - Nairobi Office, we created a short documentary about digital violence featuring 2 young girls from Kakuma Refugee Camp that was screen in Nairobi during the 16 days of activism again GBV. We are looking forward to more collaborations with the embassy and opportunities that will enable us to create and share stories of resilience, empowerment and advocacy from the camp #thekampkakuma #kakuma #refugees
