@herorats: Young HeroRAT David is currently learning one of the most important skills in Search & Rescue training: indication training. When he finds a “survivor”, he has to pull the small pendant attached to his vest. That pull sends a signal to the handler that someone has been located. Simple idea… but it takes a lot of practice, patience and rewards to get it right. Every training session helps build confidence, accuracy and communication between rat and handler. And honestly?
