@_jaydeos: When your skin flexes differently than everyone else’s 😬 #EhlersDanlos #ChronicIllness #healthtok #skintok #ehlersdanlossyndrome *eds has a wide range of symptoms affecting the entire body- this is just one organ*
and yet i have all these symptoms but my doctor says i don't have eds or heds because I've never torn a ligament.

I had no idea about dry pruning! It drives me insane, like I thought maybe it was from sweat or i was dehydrated. It feels so icky. Figures it’s from the EDS.

I am 61 just now diagnosed. I tore my ligament from a leash pull and had to have a prc surgery where he removed 3 wrist bones. A month after that surgery I detached my ligament in my other wrist and had to have the same surgery. I've also had a spinal fusion due to loose joint connectivity and have drop foot. Didn't realize how much it affects your body.

I lucked out and My rheumatologist is fascinated with my diagnosis. She said it’s rare to see legitimate diagnosed patients -not just people who have googled and think they have it. Every time I come in she calls the students in and has me do all the “tricks” to show them classic symptoms then goes over all the symptoms that aren’t as well known. She’s very proactive with treatment and management of symptoms.

I’m sure I have it but don’t really see the need for a diagnosis since there’s no definitive treatment.

Hey, just asking. Do all or many people with EDS have pain? And does pain treatment help?

I have them all, not diagnosed, my life is totally normal. I don’t understand the point of diagnosis. Genuinely. I don’t know any different. Live a normal life. So why is it bad to have these things? Sincere question.

can someone with eds answer a question for me? I have had 20+ surgeries on internal organs and ligaments, no broken bones, is this common for hEDS?
