The screw only keep the flapper from over extending. If it does over extend it won’t allow you to make a fuel selection. The pump cuts off when the flapper goes up!

makes no sense. If there was a screw there it wouldn't allow the flap to drop in the first place allowing it to pump

they usually have a $100 gas limit on any one transaction at the pump so you have to repeat if you need more gas so you would notice if pump has not shut off
