It's called app optimization and the fact that you're a tech youtuber and don't understand app optimization and since apple is the number one phone sold in the world most apps are optimized for apple
In order for them to be reoptimized for an Android, it's a complete system overhaul Most of the time not something every company is willing to do Meta has the money to do that

they shouldn't be doing specific partnerships, they should fix their APIs first, they should make sure they work and produce images that are indistinguishable from the native camera app, then they should enforce the api via play store rules and their contracts with OEM's. it's not getting done otherwise, this specific partnership is a band aid. all this multi billion dollar corporation needs to do is copy apple

this is never gonna work
or this is a good dejavu
because back in 2016 Samsung already partnered with Snapchat to FIX the social media problem and guess what.. IT DIDN'T WORK
then 2 years later Samsung partnered AGAIN with INSTAGRAM to fix this problem and it FAILD AGAIN so we've seen this news already over and over and never worked

They’ve been “fixing” it for years. Every new Samsung or pixel they keep saying it

The Camera2 API fixed that, it's just that many manufacturer/app dev don't use it because of laziness or Apple fanatism...

hmm let's think about that for a second..... maybe they didnt give a shit about the 1% that was content creators for tech on social media. Maybe they thought they would try to get customers to like there products instead of trapping customers into a device cause it works well with social media videos

Not most. Why? 80% users own android so obviously most content will be from android. The lower end contents are from android, mid range is dominated by android, high end is dominated by professional cameras. May be you are counting selfies only.

it is not from the phone it from the App
that fault is from the developers and not Andriod
almost all of them focus on iphones and make their apps more optimized for iphones
