I used to play with a guy who ran mono white board wipes and land destruction. he had this bad habit of building up his mana base while keeping everyone's board clear basically stalling the game until he could throw down an Armageddon. then in response to his land wipe he'd throw down a teferis protection so save his own lands and thats how he normally won. well one day I was play blue green and tossed down a counterspell, not for the Armageddon but for the TP

Certain strategies are hated for a reason. Dismissing people's feelings and telling them to join the club is not good advice. Telling people to have basic consideration towards others time and enjoyment in EDH: a casual, social format, and asking for people to play another deck or to have a sub in the side for those hot buttons would actually be better (even though everyone should ALREADY be doing it).

I built a board wipe deck. and it's only job is to board wipe everything. I can only lose with the deck But I will lose with the entire table not inviting to play anymore

Facts people need to play interaction to much of the time especially in commander people are to afraid to interact with each other and just want everyone’s deck to “do its thing” like no people trust it’s way more fun having to find ur way out of sticky situations

I'm a mono green player. Counter my spells, exile my creatures, make it impossible for me to win, I don't care. Play your deck to its fullest because if thats what you find fun then you should be allowed to play that way without feeling guilty. just ignore that whistling in the background. its not a dinosaur atomic bomb, why would you think that?
