5 hills I’ll die on (from a 42-year-old college dropout who was polite for way too long): 1️⃣ You don’t have a budgeting problem. You have an inflation problem. Groceries doubled. Gas doubled. Insurance went bananas. Your paycheck? A 2% raise — if it came at all. I made 980 a week while prices sprinted and my pay crawled. Skipping lattes was never going to fix that math. When prices grow and income doesn’t, cutting back isn’t the answer — earning more is. 2️⃣ People-pleasing is the most expensive habit a woman can have. The raise you don’t push for. The “sure, I can stay late.” The dream you don’t chase because what would people think. I paid that tax for 19 years. 3️⃣ Nobody is coming to save you. Not the lotto. Not the bonus your boss keeps promising. No Long last relative. No Nigerian prince. 😆 Not a miracle. I waited 17 years to learn this — and it’s the most freeing sentence I know. Because if nobody’s coming, it’s YOURS to change. 4️⃣ The “safe path” is the actual gamble. Forty-five years of 2% raises and limited PTO days, so you can finally rest when your health is spent and your kids are grown? “Golden years” they call them. 🙄 That’s the risky bet. Betting on yourself is the conservative play. 5️⃣ It is NOT too late. I started at 39 with zero followers, having never posted a video, while grieving the loss of my dad. You’re not behind. You’re unstarted. It won’t be easy. But choose your hard: starting something is hard. Staying stuck for 20 more years is harder. Which one hit for you? Tell me the number in the comments. 👇 💎And if you want to learn how I ditched corporate America for good, comment action for an invite to my free training
