@va.edits56: Jan Žižka is considered one of the best generals in medieval history. He was a Czech military leader who fought in the early 1400s during the Hussite Wars in Bohemia. Even after losing one eye and later going completely blind he never lost a battle. He became famous for using smart tactics instead of relying on huge armies. Žižka turned farmers and peasants into highly trained soldiers by using war wagons, early firearms, and defensive formations that were ahead of their time.
