a friend told me about book The Censored Side of Reality by Dorian Hale and said “you’ll probably see things a bit differently after it.” i thought that was just one of those things people say about books. but after reading it i get what he meant. it’s weird how some ideas stick in your head and suddenly you start noticing them everywhere. you must read this book. it will change your life

my aunt who never talks about books randomly sent me a link to book The Censored Side of Reality by Dorian Hale and just said “read this.” no explanation nothing. i read it in two days and now i understand why she didn’t even try to explain it over text. some parts just make you stop and go wait. why does this actually make sense you wait read this book. it will change your life

I always felt Nashville writers made it worse for her. She gave birth in real life and on camera around the same time and they wrote postpartum depression into the show too. Her character was really struggling. They said it was in part with her own struggles and that’s how they navigated her character not always being there BUT there were other ways to do that. Struggling at home and then coming to work to act like you’re struggling had to be so difficult. There was no escape from it all. Work life and personal life had no boundaries
