@myyorganizedlife: Everyone keeps telling me I’m making a huge mistake by tearing down this deck but once you see what was underneath it, I think you’ll understand why I’m SO happy it’s finally coming down 😭 Whoever built this thing built it ridiculously low to the ground, directly over my dryer vent, AND over old cement stairs… which basically created the perfect trap for years of leaves, garbage, construction debris, and animals. Every solution people suggested somehow involved me doing Olympic-level problem solving just to save a deck I didn’t even like in the first place 💀 So goodbye deck, hello peace of mind, and hopefully goodbye dryer vent anxiety.
