as a p2w I'll stop spending altogether. even if I can it's not nice to take out of my pocket every single fkn time and for what... genshin has became a maintaining your account kinda game instead of what it was years ago. too little events and they're SO boring and repetitive, barely any map expansion, no qol, I don't even have any use for resin anymore, everybody is built... like what even genshin is about now?

They most likely aren't deleting reviews mostly because they can't delete any review, they can report them for lies/profanity tho. Game stores can detect mass negative reviews and will delete or remove them to see if they are "legitimate". Low-key the anniversary review bomb caused this to become more common.

I think people are misunderstanding what’s happening. It’s not hoyo deleting the reviews it’s apple/play store deleting them for spamming. If they notice a mass amount of similar sounding reviews in a short amount of time it’ll get deleted. The problem is a lot of people are using copy pasted texts and all of them being one star will flag the system. And yes that means if you actually include a unique text you can still get flagged if it’s included in all the other one star reviews. People need to actually include their personal grievances (in their own words not ai or copy pasted) and very between 2 or even 3 because too many are spamming 1 star
