"I am not going to bury my son. My son is going to bury me." 💔 John Q (2002) was one of the most personal films Nick Cassavetes ever directed. Inspired by the real-life medical struggles of his daughter Sasha, who was born with a congenital heart defect, the film carries an emotional authenticity that extends far beyond its gripping story.
