I thought in Vidala’s scene with Hulda she looked afraid and upset - I think she knows that if Hulda comes out with her allegation publicly she is the one whose life will be ruined, and she just wants her to survive. It’s not good, it’s a survival thing, and that’s really interesting for the show.

people complaining about the pacing shock me. I just went back to episode 1 of The Handmaid's Tale and it was SO much slower!!! this show is going a mile a minute by comparison. I'm afraid people's brains and attention spans have been severely fried in the last decade

I actually really like the pacing of the show in general because it makes me want to see 8 seasons instead of everything dumped on us in 1 or 2 seasons. The only personal confliction I have about the pacing is that I wished I waited to binge the entire season rather than watching the episodes as they come out.

I also think Garth’s father can DEFINITELY understand! He just can’t speak to say it. I’m also wondering if he’s continually being poisoned to keep him from letting out information that Garth brings in that may have been seen/heard or by his dad at some point- if not he was def at the house June poisoned those men at.
