Exactly — every tool call in a native Claude setup goes through the model's context window. Every file read, every bash result, every intermediate step is tokens being processed and billed. Stack that over a full session of active development and the cost compounds fast. ("Redacted for personal information") That's a big part of why 3-4 days of heavy shipping only burned 20% of weekly quota.
