Maturity is understanding that unlearning most of the knowledge you once held tightly onto is okay ✅

Quinton Collins Sarfo(Zeenith) :
I understand where you’re coming from, my sister. As a pastor’s son who grew up in the church, I never truly felt comfortable there and often felt like I didn’t belong. For years, I questioned a lot of things and was even labeled as rebellious or “devilish” because of it. At some point, I decided to conform just so I could fit in. I went through theological college, got ordained, and did everything that was expected of me, yet I still felt like something was missing deep inside. Eventually, I made the bold decision to walk away and follow the path that felt true to me. Since then, I’ve never looked back.

So we have to name backsliding now as deconstruction.

lol. Fortunately, I did not need to travel to deconstruct. I have always questioned things.

I never believed, I questioned everything as a child and the answers the pastor gave were not enough for me. I started reading and educated myself. I haven't stepped foot into a church for about 17 years now.

Nne, you are on the right part. I was supposed to study law, but I took the path of science. I’ve always been a critical thinker and it made religion esp. Christianity not to make sense to me right from onset. I’ve been living a very peaceful irreligious life for the longest time.
