The way I’ve done mine, the world building first , the world breeds what kind of characters will exist then I do characters then story. I find it works for me like that

For the book I’m writing. I started at a very wierd place tbh. I started with finding my old youtube channel from like 2019 to early 2021 that I made videos on some characters. I adored the concept of the story but little me was kind of umm bad at writing and character development so I’ve decided to do a complete rehaul and now I’m writing a book about the characters
