I just watched the pool video from last night/yesterday and the comments in my opinion were rude. People kept saying it shouldn’t take this long and giving all of their advice. I love watching these videos and enjoy it so much. My fiance works at an apartment complex and has 2 pools to open one is sand filter and idk what the other is called but he’s been working on it periodically since early April. I can say it takes awhile for any pool to open unless everything goes perfectly and any set back can throw a schedule off.

You’re doing a great job! Perhaps you can use a PoolRx in the future, it not only kills mustard algae but it also prevents mustard algae. We own a pool cleaning company and all of our customers that have this product have little to no algae issues. We had 3 customers that got mustard algae this year and none had a pool RX. (They are either new customers or declined to have us put it in and didn’t put it in themselves) It’s about $65 for a 10000-15000 gallon pool and lasts for 6 months.

I feel like y'all learned a lot from last year! my family had a pool growing up. it got mustard algae one year, and it took my dad ages to get it cleared up, so this is totally understandable.

People just don’t understand how HARD it is to get a pool ready for summer. Mine literally caused me to sell the house. They’re just a lot of work!
