@jeremystoomuch: ☝️ Okay wait… if you have layers and your curls always separate or look weird at the ends, try this. A clamp curling iron is honestly the secret. Start where your shortest layers are first, wrap the hair all the way around the barrel before clamping so you don’t get that harsh clamp line, then give it a second to heat up and conform to the iron before you start gliding down. The clamp helps guide all those different layer lengths in the same direction so everything looks softer and more blended instead of choppy. Also ceramic barrels glide sooo much better for this.
