@swimsy.co: Breaststroke kick is not a butterfly-style movement ↓ ❌ Wrong: Bending and straightening your legs What happens: • You don’t catch enough water. • Your kick gives almost no propulsion. • Your hips drop. • You waste energy but don’t move forward. ✅ Correct: Turn your feet out and push water back • Bend your knees slightly. • Bring your heels toward your hips. • Turn your toes out. • Push the water back with the inside of your feet. • Finish with your legs straight and together. What changes: • Your kick becomes stronger. • You move forward instead of just moving your legs. • Your body position stays higher. • Breaststroke feels smoother and more powerful. The swimmer moves forward with less effort and more efficiency. 💡 Think: “catch → push → glide” #swimcoach #breaststroke #swimtips
