The gathering at the cemetery is Provody (also known as Hrobky), which takes place during the second week after Easter and, in Ukrainian tradition, is a day of remembrance for deceased relatives. The tradition of Radovnytsia dates back to pagan times and is closely linked to the ancient cult of ancestors. Nowadays, this day of remembrance is a little different.
