And yes, you absolutely need more than six words to get recommended the videos that really hit. It's not just about short captions — you need context, you need captions - you need context, you need specificity, you need vibes, and the algorithm thrives off of that. I love the way it rewards engagement, how it listens when I interact with a video for just a little too long, and then keeps feeding me more of that specific subgenre of content I didn't even know existed. I love the TikTok algorithm because it makes every scroll feel like a custom experience. I love the way it knows that when I say "I'm not like other viewers," | actually mean "Please give me more of this exact content forever."
