She's an idiot; she put herself in this situation. The cops attempted less lethal measures, guessing they had also given verbal commands to drop the knife, and force would be used. You said the call was her attempting to stab passing cars, which means she is a danger to others refuses verbal commands and the less lethal was ineffective, good shoot dumb circumstances

So, the police stopped her from getting to an area that has people she could hurt? Sounds legit to me.

Bet you would change your toon if that was your house she was walking towards. A person armed with a knife, multiple 911 callers, multiple reports of attempted assaults, failure to obey orders of police to drop weapon, less lethal ineffective, and now she’s approaching a house? Cop waits she forces entry and hurts someone. Cop acts stops threat and it’s over. Cmon man

you forgot to include that you worked one of the most violent cities in the entire nation which at one time was number 1 for violence, number 1 for stolen cars, number 1 for drug overdoses and number 1 for domestic violence.

Is it not reasonable to believe that someone armed with a knife who already tried to stab someone in a middle of an intersection is an imminent threat? Especially when refusing to drop the weapon?
