@semicuratedlife: They’re called Penjor and are part of the Galungan holiday that happens every six months in Bali. This holiday celebrates the victory of good over evil. It is also a time when the ancestral spirits visit the earth so the Penjor are there to welcome them back. Today you’ll see many Balinese people dressed in their finest going to the temple to pray. And tomorrow, the day after Galungan, is a day for spending time with family. I can feel the happy energy on the island today during this special holiday. Can you feel it too? It makes me feel so grateful for this time in Bali and for the experiences we get to have here. ❤️
