I’ve been a pediatric OT for 26 years. They are not developmentally ready at that age for writing. Fine motor play, strength, visual motor integration, and fine motor coordination are important areas that need to develop through play before handwriting. Period.

Yeah no. My kids childhood before 4 is about playing and having fun. Not sitting down and learning before they have to sit down and learn for 12+ years. We get all the potty training and dexterity down before then but teachers got the rest!
