I took 20k out for 401k loan 5 years ago to buy car just paid it back ...the loan and interest went back to ME ...not a bank ...ME I was my own bank

The way my employer has my 401(k) set up I can’t even withdraw or borrow against it unless I’m no longer employed with them or have some type of hardship 😡

💯. i did this to pay off all my debt. i pay a low amount monthly with a low interest back to my self. The interest goes straight back to me so i end up having more back to me at the end.
