You should put step storage up to the loft area so you have steps to get up there for your dog and you if you want. And then there is storage for all of your things.

Hey girlie. Jersey Girl here. Used to live in Hoboken (I understand the small space sitch). I think you need to figure out how to get better stairs for you and the pup. Make the upstairs a bed/closet. The pup will need to have more space to walk around and move around and sleep - it’s best for you and him to have that. You’ll get sick of sleeping down at the bottom and that being the only spot you “hangout” at. Those narrow stairs are sketchy, but I feel like there could be a way to get better steps. Even if you have to make them.

Upstairs: yoga mat in front of mirror leaning on the wall. Make it your self care/ vanity area and you can stretch/breathwork while lotioning or curling your hair or whatever. keeps that tiny bathroom not packed full and all your clothes and accessories will all be out of the way. Everything is going to come together perfectly 🩵

Have you considered turning your dresser and using it as your island over by the kitchen? You can easily add a piece of wood cut to size with L brackets then slide backless barstools underneath
