What you have to understand is that money is just a tool. Financial freedom isn’t about buying stuff. It’s about having the freedom to do whatever you want, whenever you want to do it. You’re not beholden to a 9-5. That’s the goal.

People saying they’d get certified in everything, travel, buy cars, etc. don’t understand hedonic adaptation. While yes those things would fulfill you for a while, the Ferrari quickly becomes a Toyota in your mind. I would never say something as stupid as “money doesn’t buy happiness,” but you would inevitably get bored…however I could live with that boredom 💀
