It’s about proper communication. It is totally ok to not text all the and daily, since we all have things to do and we are all busy throughout the day. But, it is not that difficult to let the other person know by simply saying „hey, I’m be busy and I’ll reach out soon as I have the time to“. That’s it. I think that most of the people just want a healthy communication but that seems to be too much to ask nowadays. People disappearing without saying a word, being online and not reaching out… that’s the problem here.

my husband is a workalcoholic, like working even on Sunday, working 15h a day is a daily thing, etc... He's very busy but every little break he has, he calls me. And he calls me a lot, it's often a 1 or 2 minutes call but it's like 17 times a day (literally, I counted) and 2 to 3 of these calls are 15 to 30 minutes long (on the way to work, on the way back home, sometime during lunchtime). Sometimes, I complain because it's really too much but then I think that what it means is that when he's not busy, he wants to spend his free time with me and that's exactly the purpose of being a couple.

So true. He was very busy and only texted at the end of the day, sometimes the next day if he passed out. I stayed busy too with the gym, hobbies, friends, and my business. I told him, “I don’t need you to complete me-I need you as my partner.” Now he doesn’t want to let me go.

Communication is the #1 indicator of a healthy relationship in my own personal opinion. I want very minimal, knowing he's safe, hearing his voice for 30 seconds, it is definitely not needy....it is NORMAL.
