I know you already answered this in a different comment, but just to make sure do you think it’s relatively OK to swap out the HYSA with something like a money market fund? Let’s say you’re already in your brokers ecosystem, I know it’s not FDI the insured, but it’s backed by the US government since it’s government debt.

I love the fact that you can probably say you dropped out of school. So I was social promotion the last six years and they told me if I didn’t show up for graduation They mail me a diploma but at the end of the day I’m on my fourth property that I own outright😁

Beware of where the 401K matching funds are invested. Years ago my husband worked for a company that gave matching funds but above 2%, it went into the company's stock. I got lectured by his older co-workers on how foolish I was not to take the free $. I knew how to read a financial statement and all i saw was a business in trouble. 2yr later the company went bankrupt and all lost their free $ and their money as well.

using all 5. I also have a sinking fund in a high yield separate from my emergency fund. this is where house maintenance expenses, vacations, christmas fund, etc lives.
