I got high fluoride toothpaste from my dentist. Had a beginning cavity and fixed it by using brushing better and use a tiny bit of fluoride on it after brushing. Dental hygiene is definatly a HUGE baseline to a healthy mouth!

Okay but hear me out.. I have never had a dentist suggest remineralizing the teeth. they only tell you something's wrong when there is a cavity. even a surface cavity. they don't tell you hey if you do this now that will not turn into a cavity that we have to fix.. I had a dentist suggest that I needed several root canals, I got a second opinion and it turns out I had a surface cavity. so no you can't trust every dentist. and unfortunately there's no way for us to differentiate between the good ones and the not so good ones..
