You have to use wayyyyyy more than you would normally use to underpaint so that it peeks through the foundation, then lightly over it again over the foundation. It just deepens the look but unless you're doing a full beat its not worth it in my opinion.

I think the foundation goes around those areas not over it, from my understanding underpainting is so that you don’t have layers of makeup on top of each other

I’d tap In the bronzer instead of swiping! And yes add more product bc your going over it with foundation which is meant to cover! The more bronzer under foundation makes it look more like that’s your actual cheek bones instead of noticeable bronzer

I love under painting. You need to be really moisturized like slimey type moisturize😭😂 also it might be a little better to tap the product instead of swiping because you don’t want it to blend in. It’s a trust the process type of thing because you kind of want to look like a clown at first

Try again and heavily moisturize ur face- she’s does heavy skincare prep but also her foundation that ur supposed to put over it is a very creamy serum that helps it blend
