I’m disabled too and I know exactly how you feel waiting on other people to do things for you when we can try to do it ourselves and still get pushed down or pushed away or I know exactly how you feel what can be done about this?

I am grateful for the 5% it’s better than 0. For 100 years disabled people have been advocating for better access. It’s a lot better but where are all the people before they became disabled and in need. Work for the benefit.

And apartments will rent accessible units to those without disabilities because they want the money. I’ve been blessed to have my accessible apartment that was designed to be fully accessible. So many apartments say they will modify a unity once the disabled person signs a lease.
