You also have to put into account that psg hit the post 6 times in that ucl semi-final vs Dortmund which was the reason they didn’t go to the final. From this you should realize it was not mbappe that was the problem it was just Luis Enrique was just starting his project that mbappe easily fit in he just did not trust it and had to watch them win the ucl without him. And if you actually watched mbappe in seasons like 20/21 to 23/24 you could easily see how much they relied on mbappe and how bad their defense and midfield was. All mbappe needed was a coach that would actually have a good structure for the psg squad and not just have to play with players that have no chemistry.
