Our students are learning to do this at a very young age too. It’s so important for teachers to address this… maybe through some role playing and discussion. This should be part of any SEL curriculum 😁

IMHO, a whole ass grown adult shouldn't need validation of their feelings from a stadium of people. I have 3 people that I will run my thoughts with and while doing this I am completely honest about my behavior also. Sometimes, I need someone to point out where I could have done better as well. Most disagreements are a combination of someone else and our own perceptions and reactions. Very few are truly one sided issues.
