I worked efficiently and gathered multiple jobs from different parts of the company. Then slowly those moved from me, but ppl just assume im doing stuff that isnt part of my position and now got free time at work, occationally I take new duties which seem easy to automatize

Can confirm. Putting in less effort is more rewarding. If you're an over achiever then they'll just take advantage of that and never reward you. I stopped being an over achiever after the 4th denied promotion (I trained 3 of the people they picked over me and they still asked me questions about the job after their promotions)

i do this too, dont get me wrong i am an idiot most days but i act like this so i dont get asked to do anything above what im paid to do. like the moment you show any sense of intelligence to a boss or manager they will try to find some way to exploit it and i dont wanna go through all that effort for nothing
