@ebbymoyer: Eating like a fairy 🧚 Nettle is natures multivitamin, it’ll turn a pot of potatoes into a really healing and nutritive meal! Brb about to go make nettle pesto #wildfoods #foodshortage #groceryprices #healingfoods #cottagecore
i fell off a cliff into a pile of these so I have personal issues with this plant, but it’s cool to know they’re edible

Try nettle pesto. It helped me through my PSOC journey in my 20’s. I had horrible periods and I found it helpful.

On the food shortage note, people NEED to learn how to make their own stock at home. I see so many people discard bones and scrap meat when it could go towards making delicious, FREE bone stock that's also more nutritionally dense than store-bought.
P.S., PLEASE REUSE YOUR BONES. You can make 5+ rounds of stock before your bones are completely used up. You should be reusing them until they're fork-tender. Different types of stock boil for different lengths of time. The time for chicken is 2-4 hours, pork and sheep is 4-6 hours, and anything cow-sized or bigger goes for at least 8 hours. This is how your bone stock becomes nutritionally dense and packed with flavor. You can also include things like onion and garlic for added deliciousness.

I literally JUST finished weeding them in my garden. And I'm freaking anemic and lethargic coming off my cycle. Mother Earth literally had my back and I blew it!! 😂

You’d love foraging in my yard! Burdock, stinging nettle, lots of spring onions(they were planted but holy moly they are delicious and smell delicious) , wild garlics, chives, dandelion, clover, random raspberries, a patch of Saskatoon berries and plenty more things I have yet to discover!!

The antidote grows right underneath! They are flat and the milky liquid when you rip it up will smooth the sting!

A weed is only a plant YOU don't want in your garden/yard. My house we don't have weeds.

Looks delish! 🤗
In Sweden we go a bit heavier on the nettle in the ratio and usually serve it with a boiled egg and it's lovely.
