Doing the little things is great, but it then begs the question - is it appreciated or just expected? When a person in a relationship feels there is no reciprocity, or at least gratitude for the thought, then it gradually becomes the thought process that person is not appreciated therefore why bother? The wife likes her granola, didn’t show any appreciation to her husband - which makes me wonder what else he did she didn’t notice? Too many in relationships get caught up in what they need, what they want, forgetting there is two of you in the relationship. My guess is the husband felt unappreciated and had reached his limit. I bet there is more to this than just granola…..Looks like the wife may have missed the mark on her side too……

He did something out of habit for many years and just stopped. There's more than just "it was out of stock", "why not just ask him to get it", "go get it yourself then"..... You all are missing the point.

I have to say, listening to you, is always very thought provoking. I was very lucky to have a happy, loving, caring husband. He is no longer here!!! But truly, we had one of the most amazing marriage. I wish, he was here so I could the stories with him!!! Bless him!!❤️🙏🏼
