What we are forgetting is that there is literally nothing that cannot be taken away from us. The present moment is all that we have. And if everyone keeps desiring the life of another, there will be nothing left to appreciate about oneself. It's good to have goals and work towards achieving them. But it's also important to break free from the comparison trap.
