Never do this. You're just getting a "direct" wifi connection. Strong signal with the same lag. Just get a long ethernet cable with some cable straps.

no no no IT specialist here and it may be using Ethernet but still connected to wifi. The Ethernet plug on the extender is for devices that do not have wifi capability

Isnt it different tho an extender is just extending your wifi its not like an actual router, plugging a ethernet cable from a extender to your console would just be the same as having an extender no? I could be wrong i have little knowledge on this.
