Ngl imo LED miku is better. She actually physically feels like she’s right there, and you can touch her like a physical mass. I think people saying the hologram is better are just blinded by nostalgia. It’s good, but it’s less quality.

ik people think the hologram was more "immersive" but it wasnt. the characters would fade at the ends of the hologram's reach, light and smoke would make them hard to see, the characters were still flat from the sides, and not to mention how expensive the holograms were AND how tedious it was to put them up. every single projector had to be PERFECTLY aligned or the characters would be multiplied or look jittery. the LED screen makes them bright, clear, and always visible. they can have BACKGROUNDS now that wont dim them out and make the illusion EVEN BETTER (the CONNECT:COMMUNE performance is a PERFECT example of this)

For everyone saying the led screen is better, it’s not about the led screen themselves, the image is definitely better, it’s just that zero effort is made to conceal the screen and keep the illusion. If they disguised it somehow I’d love the upgrade, but as of now, the hologram is definitely more immersive (though not better quality visually)

I know a lot of people still don’t like the screen but the performance with all the affects this year was amazing. It looked great and the background on the screens look clearer without the glass that used to show a reflection of all the glow sticks

Honestly I think people just need to see the screen in action. I was disappointed I wouldn't see the "hologram" either but the screen was gorgeous and it looked so incredibly realistic (though I was pretty close to the stage so I can't say how realistic it would be for those further away)
