sorry but it's literally made for the fans? we're not hating just cuz it's different but cuz it doesn't carry over what people like about the characters and makes weird changes to the lore, it's just flat with no style and in Season 2 Dante literally doesn't win a fight and has to get MUNDUS to do it

listen, dmc fan here that played the games and read the mangas too as it's own thing... it's okay! it's not that bad... But it's Adi's promise that he said he'll stay close to cannon and he just straight up changed alot of key points , which is why alot of DMC fans are raging at that.
