@chefcravings: Fiery, crunchy, and straight from the heart of Haitian culture🇭🇹🔥 This is pikliz - not just a condiment, but a whole attitude. Cabbage, carrots, Scotch bonnet heat... soaked in bold flavor and tradition that hits every bite like home. Once you try it, everything else feels like it's missing something. Ingredients • Green cabbage (thinly shredded) • Carrots (julienned or grated) • Bell peppers (thinly sliced, optional) • Scotch bonnet peppers (or habanero for less heat) • White vinegar (enough to fully cover) • Fresh lime or lemon juice • Adobo (to taste) • Maggie (chicken bouillon) 1. Wash and prep all vegetables: shred cabbage, cut carrots, slice peppers, and Scotch bonnet (use gloves for the pepper). 2. Combine everything in a large bowl and mix well. 3. Season with salt and optional adobo and or Maggie cube (adobo). 4. Add lime or lemon juice, then pour in white vinegar until everything is fully submerged. 5. Pack tightly into a clean glass jar, pressing the vegetables down so they're covered in liquid. 6. Seal and let it sit at room temperature for 24-48 hours. For best flavor, let it marinate 3-5 days. #haitiantiktok#haitianfood#haitianflag#fyp#fire

Unfortunately I can’t find scotch bonnet so I use habaneros. Not the same but close enough.
