I play the saxophone and it's the same with the clarinet since they both use rod, when you play don't inflate your cheeks keep them normal and take the air out of the stomach and play with some force not much

I think ur reed is to big try 2.5 im a alto saxophone player and i use 2.5 and that makes air flow much better

Try not to puff your cheeks and do the same mouth shape but put you teeth on the top and blow and just know the notes and get your finger close and cover the hole so you do not squeak and make sure to say the letter E so your notes are clean and put your hand in front of your face so you know that your air is going straight to your hand and that is how you know it is going the right way that is it I know because I am a clarinet player

ok so may not me a pro but if I can give you a tip is put cork grease every time you play and for the high notes try to tune frist and DONT BITE THE REED PLS that it 😁

One more tip for when playing place your top teeth about a quarter of an inch on top of your mouthpiece and place your bottom lip on top of your bottom teeth, but don't bite down on your bottom lip, because that will be painful and put your top lip over your top teeth, but make sure your top teeth are on the mouthpiece.

Here is a tip press your teeth down into the mouthpiece harder and put less pressure on the reed with your bottom lip. (Coming from a clarinetist)

You should learn how to play oboe. I have been playing flute for 5 years and now I’m learning oboe and oboe has almost the exact same fingering as a flute. You should definitely try and learn it.

Hey I’m just gonna give some tips for the clarinet, I hope this helps. 1. Your bottom lips cover your bottom teeth and your top teeth kinda bite down on the mouth piece. 2.make sure your ligature isn’t too tight or too lose. 3.make sure the body of the clarinet are straight which are the two main parts that have the keys. no im a clarinet player it will not rot your teeth. also you have to curl your bottom lip. also use a 2.5 reed. when tounging notes use the tip of your tongue and slightly touch the tip of the reed and when putting your reed on you wanna put it on just so you see a LITTLE bit of black

When you are putting the reed on put your pointer finger on the top on the mouthpiece if you feel the reed REALLY touching your finger it’s too high
