@dclcommunity: Save time and money on your Disney Cruise by doing this BEFORE you sail! SAVE THIS FOR BEFORE YOU CRUISE! Let me start by saying this isn’t a mandatory thing to do. Some Disney Cruisers like to save money on their cruises by buying Disney giftcards from places like Costco or Sam’s Club. You can take giftcards and apply them to your account onboard so that you’re able to use the savings on anything you charged to your stateroom (gratuities, spa services, tastings, excursions, shopping, etc.). You can also do this with your credit card. For a stateroom surprise, you can also buy onboard gifts before you sail. When you load your Disney Cruise Line Navigator app, click your reservation. Then you’ll click the bottom right corner MORE button. Next on the lefthand side of the screen, you’ll select ONBOARD GIFTS. Once you click, the app will automatically copy your reservation number so you don’t have to memorize it. Click continue. The system will open your web browser. From there, you’ll click LOCATE A RESERVATION where you’ll paste your reservation number and type in the last name on the reservation. Click continue. PRO TIP: if you ever wanted to order an onboard gift for someone you’re not sailing with (example: your best friend’s family is sailing for the first time and you want to send them the room décor package or your in-laws are sailing to celebrate retirement so you send them a bottle of wine), you can do that here. You just have to have the last name and when they’re sailing! From there, you’ll BEGIN SHOPPING. This is where you’ll find all the onboard gifts! For onboard credit, you’ll click on the menu again on the left side and click the button that says ONBOARD CREDIT. You’ll type in the amount you want to add with the person you want to send the credit to. Then ADD TO BAG. From there, you’ll go to the shopping bag in the top right corner and checkout.  Easy peasy! If you forget, you can always go to Guest Services onboard and have them apply it. You can also do this on a computer or tablet on the DCL website.
