@beccabaumbach3: I've never seen my myotonic kids faint this early, but Basil started on day 3! Yes, he is completely okay. Myotonic goats begin "fainting" (stiffening up or falling over when startled or excited) around 6 to 8 weeks of age. They do not actually lose consciousness; their muscles temporarily freeze due to a genetic condition called myotonia congenita. As they get older, many goats learn to balance or lean against fences to stay upright instead of fully falling over. #myotonicgoats #faintinggoats #babygoats #goats #kiddingseason
